Community Guidelines
These are the general guidelines that we rely on, when making decisions about the Summit:
- we cannot accept attendees who work in gambling, or any other sector that is built around the addiction mechanics (alcohol, tobacco, sugary drinks, etc.);
- we cannot accept attendees who work in politics, aside from the regional authorities who are directly related to the location of the event and who are engaged insofar as they support the local games industry cluster;
- we cannot accept attendees who glorify violence or war in general, regardless of which army they cheer on; as Article 11 of the Italian Constitution says, “L’Italia ripudia la guerra come strumento di offesa alla libertà degli altri popoli e come mezzo di risoluzione delle controversie internazionali“.
If you believe that one of the attendees has engaged in the behavior that worsens the experience of others, such as making unsolicited offers of services, personal harassment, racism, and similar, you can file a complaint by sending an email to us (hover here for link).
All submissions will be reviewed by, and voted on, by the community board, and such attendees may be banned from attending future events for 1 or 5 years, or permanently.
